Far-right mesathead urinated on memorial to PC Palmer

Andrew Banks, who was seen urinating on the London memorial for PC Palmer; has been sentenced for 14 days in jail. PC Palmer was murdered by an Islamic extremist at the palace of Westminster in 2017.

28-year-old Banks, from Stansted, plead guilty, blaming the incident on ‘drinking 16 pints’ and being too drunk to realise what he was doing.

He claimed to not realise what he has done until later that day and had been pushed to handing himself in by his father.

The magistrate accepted that he did not intend to urinate on the memorial; however, she sentenced the public urinator to 14 days in Jail for ‘outraging public decency’. Banks was photographed urinating next to and on the memorial. The image sparked public fury.

Over 100 men were arrested at Saturdays violent ‘far-right’ protests.
