Gove tells the public its time to work fro home again - 22 september

Cabinet secretary Micheal Gove was doing the media rounds this morning, laying the groundwork for the announcement of further lockdown restrictions this afternoon.

At 1230 this afternoon, Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to make public a range of COVID-19 restrictions. Sources close to government have told Voice Britannia that a 10 pm curfew is one of many ‘tools’ which are to be announced today.

Boris Johnson, Gove and the UK’s devolved leaders are taking part in a COBRA (COBR) meeting to decide on what actions to take.

We have been told a 10 pm Curfew has already been agreed between the UK’s four nations; Forcing entertainments venues and bars to close doors at 10 pm, before people get too drunk. (yes, that IS the logic!)

Boris Johnson is set to brief ministers in the House of Commons today at 1230 pm (lunchtime). The Prime Minister is to make a pre-recorded statement to the public in the evening.

WE will be LIVE on our Twitch channel for the PM’s statement at 1230 today! Click here to follow and tune in! (100% free of charge!).
